Pilates first entered my life back in 2013, I had always been quite an active person with a love for running, swimming, and hiking. After an illness I was recommended Pilates by my doctor as I was unable to partake in my regular sports, it wasn’t love at first try as I really struggled to slow down. But after finding the reformer I fell in love with Pilates, as slowing movement down helped me to realise how truly amazing the human body is. My teaching style is to guide you to take responsibility for your own body’s movement, and encouraging you to use your time in class, and throughout every day, to check in with how you’re moving.
